Establish key relationships with distributers around the world and secure each project’s release in global territories.
Develop early global branding by selling the rights to merchandise, video games, board games, t-shirts and more in different countries around the world.
Develop an optimal produced version for each major territory. For example, in our version of a production released in India, we may add one or two unique scenes specific to that culture that are not in the versions released in other countries.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
In 2017, the top 2 territories (China & U.S.) represented 46% of global gross box office. These 2 are on track to top 50% in 2018.
The top 8 territories represented 70% of global gross box office in 2017. We closely develop each project with distributors in these top territories to optimize each project’s earnings in them.
